Joe has decades of semiconductor and technology venture successes. He started as a DRAM semiconductor process engineer at Mostek in the late ‘70. In ‘84, he started Techlink Co. to represent US semiconductor equipment companies doing business in S. Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He served as a board member of CASPA; Chinese American Semiconductor Professionals Asso., invested in many fabless semiconductor and technology start-ups.

He seeded Integrated Silicon Solutions in 1988, (1995 NASDAQ IPO: ISSI), Vertex Networks (acquired by Mitel 2001), and Programmable Microelectronics Corp. (Acquired by ISSI), BCD Semiconductor (IPO BCDS), Oplink Communications, (OPLK) and many others. He later served as Oplink’s Chairman and CEO, led a successful NASDAQ IPO in 2000, acquired OCPI in 2007, and Molex/Koch’s cash buyout in 2014.

Joe holds an M.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from California State University, Chico and a B.S. degree in Printing Engineering from Chinese Culture University, Taipei.

Chieh is a visionary and operator with serial semiconductor and technology venture successes. He started an IC design career at GTE in the late ‘70. When GTE exited in ‘85, that fostered his IC design start-up – Acumos, later he invented the world’s first single-chip SVGA using UMC’s foundry. The advanced products, fabless model, and steep revenue growth led to Acumos’ ’92 acquisition by Cirrus Logic.

Since 1995, he became an active private investor helping entrepreneurs fulfilling their dreams. He seeded Oplink Communications in 1995, (IPO in 2000), Programmable Microelectronics Corp. in 1996, (acquired by ISSI in 2006), Vertex Networks in 1997, (acquired by Mitel in 2000), BCD Semiconductor in 2001, and many others. In 2010 he became BCD’s turnaround CEO – led a successful US IPO in 2011, (NASDAQ: BCDS), and Diodes’ acquisition in 2013. (NASDAQ: DIOD).

Chieh holds an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.

Wayne Tseng is Chairman of EDOM Technology. Before establishing EDOM Technology in July 1996, Mr. Tseng was the pioneer sales manager of Cirrus Logic in Taiwan in July 1988. The sales team he found and led created more than US$250 million in revenue. In June 1993, he started the Cirrus Logic Hong Kong office and boosted the sales to US$ 50M. By 1994, he was promoted to director of sales with Cirrus Logic. Mr. Tseng also has two years of PCB IE industry experience. Previously, he served as a salesman at Acer Sertek from 1986 to 1988.

Mr. Tseng holds a Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering from Chung-Yuan Christian University.

Ray’s responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and executing early-stage investment opportunities and working with portfolio companies. Before joining the team, he was Director of Product Management at Miotta, a Techlink Ventures portfolio company. He started his career at Delta Electronics, a multinational power electronics manufacturer, where he focused on business analysis of global renewable energy infrastructure.

Ray holds a B.S. degree with honors in Business Administration, Management Information Systems from San Jose State University.
